Welcome to my website! I am the author of children's books including: No Star Nights, Outside the Window, A History of West Virginia, To Keep the South Manitou Light, and a new book, titled Golden Delicious: A Cinderella Apple Story. My main focus has been on books for children.
I also wrote The Life of Saint Brigid, which tells legends of an early Irish Saint, and have had poetry featured in many journals and anthologies. I also give writing workshops and author presentations throughout the country.
I live in Bridgeport, WV with my husband Kim and dog Flash. I am proud to call West Virginia home.
My son lives close by in Bridgeport and my daughter lives in Boston. I have two grandchildren, Daniel and Aaron, to whom my latest book is dedicated.
