Writing Workshops By Anna Smucker

presenting to students in Mingo County
Apart from writing, much of my time is devoted to helping people develop their writing skills through writing workshops. I give children's writing workshops, adult writing workshops, and teacher writing workshops. I'm not usually one to toot my own horn, but my daughter suggested that I could give readers an idea about what my writing workshops are like by providing some "testimonials."
A recent testimonial from a teacher in Preston County, WV who attended one of my children's writing workshops: "Thanks so much for coming to our school. Your visit will be remembered as one of the best author presentations we've had. We really appreciate the time you took to discuss the writing process that you use for your writing and showing the "sloppy copies" of your books. With other authors we have felt as if we were just selling their books for them but with you we see a TEACHER. Thanks so much. You did a great job!"
I also give author presentations. Click here to learn more.
